The Ligue 1 matchday 33 meeting between PSG and Brest was halted for several minutes on Sunday night after a technical problem affected referee Jérôme Brisard. According to L'Équipe, the official encountered an earpiece fault.

The stoppage occurred shortly after the 35th minute when Brisard was unable to communicate with his assistants.

During the pause, players took instructions from the benches. Luis Enrique was seen speaking with Fabian Ruiz, and the Spanish coach of the Ligue 1 leaders voiced his irritation to the referee.

Play resumed around the 41st minute following roughly five minutes of interruption.

There were six minutes of added time, and at half-time the sides were level at 0-0.
