PSG v Monaco: Collectif Ultras Paris sanctions two groups after tensions

Last Saturday, during the reception of Metz in Ligue 1, two groups of Paris Saint-Germain supporters, the Parias Cohortis and Urban Paris, who are part of the Collectif Ultras Paris, were involved in fights. This is what the CUP is sanctioning tonight for the Champions League return leg (2-3 victory in the first leg) against AS Monaco at the Parc des Princes (kick-off at 9 PM, broadcast on Canal+). This is reported by L’Equipe, as PSG aims for calm and the authorities have “asked for explanations.”

“Two entities will not be able to join the Virage Auteuil: members of the Parias Cohortis (CP) and Urban Paris (UP), involved in fights that occurred Saturday night after the reception of Metz (3-0), have been asked not to join the Porte d’Auteuil for the match against ASM following a decision by the CUP. The two Paris Saint-Germain ultra groups have been experiencing tensions since the 2025 Champions League final. Associated with the ultras of Celtic Glasgow – some of whom were present in Munich – the CP had an altercation with the UP, friends with those of AIK Stockholm. As often in the ultra world, associations, friendships, and agreements can lead to conflicts. The two Parisian groups thus find themselves here in the middle of tensions between the Scots and the Swedes with whom they are allied.”

Unfortunately, it is sometimes difficult to make all supporter groups coexist, even within the same club. It is absolutely necessary to calm the situation; no one wants a return of incidents at the Parc des Princes. Nor in any other stadium, for that matter. This sanction by the Collectif Ultras Paris undoubtedly aims to remind of the firmness against bad behavior and the desire to move forward in a healthy atmosphere. An essential point to regain more freedom, a major fight for the Ultras.
