The Portuguese midfielder Vitinha didn't hold back when discussing the Messi-Neymar-Mbappé era at PSG.

Since joining PSG in 2022, Vitinha had the chance to play a season alongside the superstar trio of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé. While the club's marketing revenues soared with these stars in the lineup, their performances on the pitch rarely propelled PSG to the heights expected.

Vitinha voiced this sentiment during an interview with Canal 11, admitting that the trio wasn't necessarily a positive for the team.

"You can't afford to have one, two, or even three players who don't run. They're among the best in history, but that's not always what's best for the team. That's the difference with the current PSG. The forwards defend the fullbacks like madmen. You see a (Ousmane) Dembélé, a Gonçalo (Ramos), pressing at the edge of the box and being the first to press in the opponent's half," he said.
