PSG are set to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday evening at the Puskas Arena.
Luis Enrique’s side will aim to retain the European crown they won last season, while Arsenal head into the clash hoping to lift the Champions League trophy for the first time in their history.
PSG come into the final after another strong domestic campaign, having secured the Ligue 1 title once again, finishing six points clear at the top of the table.
That said, their recent performances have been somewhat inconsistent, largely due to rotation across the squad. They recorded victories against Brest (1–0) and Lens (2–0), but ended their league season with a 2–1 defeat to Paris FC.
In Europe, however, they showed their quality and determination, managing a 1–1 draw against Bayern Munich to progress with a 6–5 aggregate win.
The French champions head into this decisive match in excellent physical condition, with most of their squad well-rested.
There is also positive news on the injury front, as Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi has recovered from a minor hamstring issue and is expected to start.
In addition, both Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes are fully fit and available for selection.
With their domestic season finishing a week earlier than Arsenal’s, key figures such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doué, Joao Neves, and Vitinha arrive in Budapest fresher and better prepared for the final.
Possible PSG starting XI: Safonov; Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia
The match will kick off at 5pm BST on Saturday, 30th May.
