Liverpool are looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain attacker Bradley Barcola in the summer transfer window, according to French outlet Le10Sport.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot wanted to bring the France international to the Anfield club last summer but the winger opted to remain in the Ligue 1.

However, Barcola is now very keen to join the Reds having struggled to break into the starting XI of PSG manager Luis Enrique.

A move to the Merseyside club now appeals to the 23-year-old as he could be the one to replace Mohamed Salah.

Barcola has played 49 games across all competitions this term, weighing in with 12 goals and seven assists.

15 of those appearances have been from the bench and the Frenchman would love to play more.

Liverpool want another winger heading into next season as they prepare for life without Salah, and the PSG star fits the bill.

He plays on both wings and can also feature as a number 9, and the Reds could use his versatility.

Barcola notched 21 goals and 21 assists in 64 games last term and is capable of replicating a similar level of impact at Liverpool.

The club could be ready to pull out all the stops to get their man, and PSG are likely to sanction a sale if the Frenchman insists he wants out.

His finishing, dribbling, passing and ability to hold on to the ball are some of the qualities Liverpool could do with in a winger going forward.

The Reds will also keep looking at other attacking targets, while Barcola will only likely move to Anfield if they qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League table heading into the remaining two games of the campaign but may need three more points to guarantee a place in the elite European competition.

They play Aston Villa and Brentford next and will need to be in fine form to get the job done.
