Fabian Ruiz and Senny Mayulu are unlikely to make PSG’s Champions League play-off first leg at Monaco on Tuesday, according to Le Parisien.

Ruiz, 29, has been out since 20 January with a left knee injury sustained against Sporting Portugal, and despite resuming individual work he is not expected to be ready.

Mayulu, 19, took a knock in last week’s Classique against Olympique de Marseille and is also expected to miss out.

That is not expected to apply to João Neves, 21, and Ousmane Dembélé, 28, who were both hurt during Friday’s 3-1 defeat by Stade Rennais.

Their availability would be a boost for Luis Enrique, with midfield options already stretched and a crucial run of matches ahead.

The return leg is scheduled at the Parc des Princes a week later.
