PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani likely to make Premier League move as Tottenham join the race

Randal Kolo Muani’s (26) situation at Paris Saint-Germain is unsustainable. Still prominent at international level, he has been marginalised by Luis Enrique at PSG with the forward not even included in matchday squads ahead of the short winter break in Ligue 1.

A departure is therefore highly likely. There is no shortage of interest, despite the former Eintracht Frankfurt man’s lack of minutes in recent times. AS Monaco, in the market for a striker on loan due to Folarin Balogun’s shoulder injury, are interested. “That would be good,” said the Principality club’s manager, Adi Hütter, on the subject of RKM’s potential arrival at the Stade Louis II.

But much of the interest is coming from abroad, and specifically, from the Premier League. PSG would be willing to allow Kolo Muani to leave on loan, although they would like to include an obligation to buy in any deal. Florian Plettenberg understands that there is a “strong chance” that he will move to the Premier League next month.

He adds that Liverpool have enquired, whilst Manchester United are also monitoring the situation. Arsenal have also been linked with the France international in recent weeks. A new name has been thrown into the mix – Tottenham Hotspur. They, like Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, are also interested in acquiring Kolo Muani’s services.
