One year after joining Paris Saint-Germain from AS Roma, Renato Marin (19), who will turn 20 next month, is set for a loan move to the Portuguese top flight, according to a report from Le Parisien.

Marin joined PSG last summer in order to become the third-choice goalkeeper, behind Lucas Chevalier (who also arrived last summer from Lille OSC) and Matvey Safonov. Despite being third choice, he nonetheless made three appearances across all competitions for the European champions.

He is admired by Luis Enrique and seen as a player for the future, however, first-team prospects in the short-term are limited. As a result, Les Parisiens decided earlier in the summer that it would be best to send the goalkeeper out on loan.

An opportunity has now presented itself and the Italo-Brazilian shotstopper is set to join CD Nacional, who last season finished 14th in the Portuguese top flight. It will be a straight loan deal, without a buy option.
