PSV keen on re-signing Brighton midfielder Propper

PSV are assessing Brighton midfielder Davy Propper for a summer move.

The experienced international was sold by PSV to the Seagulls four years ago.

According to Dutch sources, via The Argus, Brighton want £8.6million for a player whose contract expires in June 2023.

PSV will attempt to lower the fee, but the source believes the eventual fee and Propper's wages mean a transfer is likely.

Propper is 30 in September and has struggled to start regularly with Brighton in the Premier League this season.
