PSV host Feyenoord in the Eredivisie at the Philips Stadion on Sunday, 1 February 2026, with the leaders facing the side in second as the title race sharpens.
This is first versus second, and their October meeting in Rotterdam finished 3-2 to PSV. The leaders' recent league run features a 5-1 win over Excelsior, a 2-1 victory at Fortuna Sittard and a 2-2 draw with NAC Breda. Feyenoord's league form has been mixed, bookended by a 4-2 win against Heracles and a 3-4 defeat to Sparta Rotterdam, while they also lost at Real Betis in Europe.
Squad availability could shape the balance. The hosts are without forwards Alassane Plea, Dennis Man, Myron Boadu, Ricardo Pepi and Ruben van Bommel. Guus Til has 11 league goals, with Joey Veerman leading the assists chart on 10. Feyenoord miss leading scorer Ayase Ueda (18 league goals), plus Sem Steijn and several defenders including Gernot Trauner, Anel Ahmedhodzic, Tsuyoshi Watanabe and Thomas Beelen.
PSV have averaged three goals per game with 61% possession and 86.69% passing accuracy this season, and their 14 headed goals point to a consistent aerial threat from crosses and set pieces. Feyenoord have scored 2.5 per game and kept six clean sheets. Anis Hadj Moussa has contributed six goals and four assists and could be key on transitions.
A home win would take PSV to 56 points and further strengthen their grip on top spot. An away victory would move Feyenoord to 42 points and consolidate second while keeping the pressure on in the Champions League places.
