Mauro Junior has suffered another injury setback during a training match in Spain, Voetbal International reports.
The PSV Eindhoven player suffered a shoulder injury during the training drill on Thursday afternoon and is expected to have another spell on the sidelines as a result.
The Brazilian winger has just recovered from a groin injury which saw his season limited to just 21 minutes of action in the Eredivisie so far this season.
The incident happened during PSV’s training camp in Marbella in a match between their own players with the left-back starting the match before suffering a dislocation on his shoulder which saw him pull out of the match before the second-half started.
The full-back was a guaranteed starter for PSV last season but since suffering a groin injury ahead of the start of this season he has only managed to feature twice – once in the Eredivisie and in the Europa League – totalling just 27 minutes of action.
