Qatar Stars League side Al Arabi are set to bid for Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti in the next few days.

According to a tweet by Fabrizio Romano, Qatari outfits Al Arabi are expected to submit an official bid to Paris Saint-Germain soon for securing the services of Marco Verratti. Negotiations are set to enter crucial stages as soon as the bid arrives.

The Italian midfielder had personal terms agreed with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal in July but a lack of negotiations and agreement between the two clubs let the deal expire.

No European club have shown a definite interest in landing the 30-year-old and therefore his future lies in the Middle-East who are growing their leagues with every passing day.

Talks aren’t expected to take much time due to the Qatar ownership background of the Ligue 1 champions and the transfer may be formalised within this window.
