Julien Stephan admitted the early signs do not look good for Tariq Lamptey and Jimmy Dunne after both were forced off during QPR’s goalless draw with Charlton.

Rangers’ injury problems continued at The Valley, with Lamptey withdrawn late in the first half before captain Dunne was forced off just three minutes after the restart.

The pair will now be assessed ahead of Saturday’s Championship clash with leaders West Brom, but Stephan appeared concerned by the initial prognosis.

“It’s difficult for me to give you more information about them because we have to assess them, but it doesn’t present very well,” the QPR boss told West London Sport.

“Now we have to find a way to present a competitive team on Saturday. I will reflect on that tomorrow.”

QPR were already without Ilias Chair and Richard Kone after both suffered injuries during Saturday’s defeat to Middlesbrough.

Koki Saito also missed the draw at Charlton after picking up a problem against Boro and remains a doubt for the trip to West Brom.
