Quansah staying at Leverkusen "highly unrealistic" amid Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool links | OneFootball

Jarell Quansah is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2027 amid rising transfer interest, according to Sport Bild.

In addition to Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, Real Madrid are now reportedly showing interest in the England international, with the La Liga giants likely to need at least two centre-backs next summer.

Arsenal already made a €65 million offer for Quansah last summer, but Leverkusen rejected it.

However, Die Werkself look highly unlikely to keep the 23-year-old beyond the summer of 2027, with Sport Bild describing that prospect as “highly unrealistic”.

Liverpool, who sold Quansah to Leverkusen for €35 million in 2025, have an advantage in the race, as they hold a €70 million buyback option for the defender next summer.

According to the report, it's considered likely that the Reds will exercise their option – if not to use Quansah themselves, then to sell him on for a profit.

A natural centre-back, the 23-year-old has also been deployed at right-back for both England and Bayer Leverkusen.

His contract with Leverkusen runs until 2030.
