Danish midfielder Olesen has made 17 league appearances for Everton this season, scoring one goal. The player has spent the last two years on Merseyside.

Everton signed Danish forward Madsen in the January 2024 transfer window. She has featured for The Toffees either side of a period of maternity leave.

Experienced Norwegian defender Mjelde joined Everton on a short-term deal in January 2025. The player has made six appearances for the club in all competitions.

Forward Thomas has spent this season with Everton, making the step up from playing Barclays Women’s Championship football with Blackburn Rovers.

After the quartet’s exits were announced, Everton manager Brian Sørensen said “I would like to thank all four players for their service throughout their time at Everton. Karo, Ri, Maren and Thommo all immersed themselves into the culture at the Club and were popular members of the squad.

“All four have contributed to our progress this season and leave with the best wishes of everyone at Everton.”

Further Everton squad news will be revealed throughout the close season.
