Quique Flores returns to La Liga as Alavés head coach

The club said in a statement on Tuesday, the 3rd, that the 61-year-old Spaniard replaces Eduardo Coudet, adding they are looking to his experience to keep the team in the top flight.
Flores returns for his eighth La Liga spell, having previously led Getafe, Valencia, Atlético Madrid, Espanyol and Sevilla, winning the Copa del Rey with Valencia.
Abroad, he has coached Al Ahli Dubai and Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates, Watford in England, and Shanghai Shenhua in China.
He also managed Benfica in 2008/09 and won the Taça da Liga with the Lisbon club.
