Gian Piero Gasperini spoke at a press conference on the eve of Roma vs. Sassuolo.
The Giallorossi coach didn’t say anything about the transfer market, but the club is very active.
For defense, the Giallorossi have their eye on Radu Dragusin, a highly regarded prospect at Trigoria.
As reported by Il Tempo, the player has expressed his approval of the move, and further discussions are expected between the parties involved in the coming hours to finalize the deal.
The Giallorossi are in talks with Tottenham about a loan deal with a conditional buyout. The player, having ruptured his cruciate ligament, has been sidelined by Thomas Frank’s plans and wants to return to Italy to relaunch his career in a league he knows well.
The discussions between Gasperini and the club have borne fruit. Giacomo Raspadori is getting significantly closer to Roma, and progress is being made on several fronts.
Florin Manea, the defender’s agent, confirmed to Digisport that negotiations with Roma are ongoing.
“The figure is much higher than €15 million,” he said. “The deal should be a loan with a conditional obligation, however. Anything is possible.” “I’m in London, we’re in negotiations. It’s not about Fiorentina; I know Roma has expressed interest to Tottenham.”
“There’s another club, too; I can’t tell you which one, but it’s not Italian. Roma must first reach an agreement with Tottenham, then I’ll talk to them too. We’re waiting, we’re here, and we’ll see in the next few days.”
