Fenerbahce have sent a delegation to Italy for direct talks with Milan and Rafael Leao, confirm multiple sources, with interest also from Galatasaray and Benfica.
Sportitalia and Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu both confirm that the flight carrying director Cihan Kamer and his colleagues landed at Malpensa Airport this evening.
Their mission is to discuss the transfer fee and personal terms with Milan and Leao’s entourage.
It’s reported Fenerbahce want to get Leao for a maximum of €40m, which would be the bare minimum for Milan, but the Rossoneri will not accept a loan with option to buy.

The player is still on vacation following Portugal’s participation in the World Cup, and has been in Brazil to plug his clothing line.
He has been called up for Milan’s pre-season tour in Australia and is due to fly there directly later this week, if he doesn’t agree a transfer first.
Club and player know they will part ways this summer, but the expected flood of offers simply hasn’t materialised, with only Turkish Super Lig sides showing firm interest.

Galatasaray and Benfica, the latter more so after talks with free agent Mohamed Salah stalled, have made approaches, but Fenerbahce are the first to send directors over in person.
