Rafael Leao stance unchanged as Fenerbahce plan Milan talks and €10 million salary, Milan want €60 million | OneFootball

Rafael Leao has yet to open the door to a move as AC Milan seek a resolution to his future amid stalemate.

According to Goal.com, Gerry Cardinale is working to unblock Milan’s market and to support Rubén Amorim’s further targets after signing Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila for around €100 million, with Leao the most urgent case.

The Portugal forward is finishing his holiday after the World Cup. His May remarks about ending seven years in Italy still stand, and Milan also believe a split is timely for technical, financial and motivational reasons, with him their top earner on about €seven million.

He prefers Spain or, above all, England. Talk of Aston Villa and Tottenham interest lacks concrete basis. Firm interest is from Türkiye, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, options that currently do not appeal despite double-digit offers.

Milan want €60 million for a permanent sale. As of 30 June 2025 his book value is €16.8 million, and they seek a capital gain to fund a left-footed attacking midfielder. If the deadlock persists, a costly loan with a conditional obligation could be explored.

Leao will miss the Celtic Glasgow friendly on Saturday 25, but is due in Australia with Gonçalo Ramos on 29 July, the first stop on Rubén Amorim’s tour. Fenerbahce plan a blitz in Milan to meet his lawyer and present €10 million per season, having already spent more than €60 million on Nathan Aké, Vedat Muriqi and Mason Greenwood.
