With 21 days left in the summer window, Valencia are pursuing a right-back and could re-sign Largie Ramazani ahead of their 22 August league debut. Carlos Corberán’s side do not play this weekend.

According to AS, Arnau Martínez is the preferred right-back target, the most urgent vacancy in the squad. Ramazani, who spent last season on loan, has also come into focus, with Leeds wanting to find him a move despite his contract running until 2028.

The Belgian arrived at Mestalla in August and only truly impressed after the winter break. A January exit was explored but did not happen, and by June his performances had been pivotal in securing survival.

Valencia cannot meet Leeds United’s asking price for a permanent deal, and the English club would prefer not to sanction another loan. Ramazani wants to play at Mestalla again and has relayed that to Leeds’ hierarchy and to Valencia players who remain in contact.

Mestalla’s sporting department still need a winger and would not oppose Ramazani’s return. With the player open to another year in Valencia, time could favour Corberán’s side.
