Ramon Abatti Abel to referee first Gre-Nal of Copa do Brasil quarter-finals | OneFootball

The federation confirmed that Ramon Abatti Abel will take charge of the first Gre-Nal of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals on Thursday 27 August at Beira-Rio.

Abatti Abel holds a FIFA badge and worked at this year's World Cup. He officiated the draw between Belgium and Egypt and Switzerland's win over Canada, both in the group stage.

He has overseen two previous Gre-Nais, one in the 2024 Brasileirão and another in the 2025 Gauchão final. Internacional won both, the league meeting at Couto Pereira and the state decider.

The assistants will be Thiaggo Americano Labes (SC) and Michael Stanislau (RS), with Andre Luiz Skettino Policarpo Bento (MG) as fourth official.

The VAR will be Marco Aurelio Augusto Fazekas Ferreira (MG), with Flavio Gomes Barroca (RN) and Emerson de Almeida Ferreira (MG) as assistants.

The 453rd Gre-Nal opens the tie. The second leg is at the Arena on 3 September.
