Ramón Sosa returned to full training and Piquerez has no fracture as Palmeiras prepare for a decisive Libertadores quarter-final second leg in Quito on Wednesday.

According to Nosso Palestra, the squad reported back on Sunday for recovery work, then Abel Ferreira led a tactical session on Monday at the Academia de Futebol.

Palmeiras hold the advantage after a 1-0 first-leg win at the Nubank Parque and need a draw to reach the semi-finals. Kick-off is at 19:00 at the Estádio Rodrigo Paz Delgado.

Sosa had been sidelined by a left thigh issue but completed the entire session with the group, increasing Ferreira's attacking options. Piquerez, who left the match against São Paulo with left ankle pain, will continue treatment under daily monitoring.

Mauricio remains under observation with right knee tendinitis after missing the São Paulo game. The delegation will fly to Quito on Monday morning, with a late-afternoon workout at the Estádio Olímpico Atahualpa to aid altitude adaptation around 2,850 metres above sea level.

A final session will precede the match, when Ferreira is expected to finalise his team.
