Ramsdale wins March's Premier League Save of the Month award

Ramsdale's excellent stop to deny Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee in the Magpies' 2-1 win at St. James' Park has earned the England international the prize after a public vote.

With the game situated at 1-1, the Newcastle goalkeeper dived to his left to tip Zirkzee's long-range attempt over the bar before William Osula's stunning late winner secured three points for the hosts, who played the full duration of the second-half with ten men.

Ramsdale saw off the competition of Arsenal's David Raya, Jordan Pickford of Everton and Tottenham Hotspur's Guglielmo Vicario to win the monthly gong as well as Emi Martinez of Aston Villa and Sunderland's Melker Ellborg.
