Paris Saint-Germain have severed negotiations with Juventus regarding a deal for Randal Kolo Muani, as per a report from RMC Sport.

The form of the deal taking Kolo Muani back to Juventus has changed drastically over the course of the talks between the two clubs. PSG were initially insistent on a sale, but were also open to a loan with an obligation clause. However, in the context of Juventus’ financial situation, this wasn’t possible, and the Serie A side then began to negotiate a loan with a buy clause. Whilst this didn’t necessarily suit PSG, they were open to the possibility, given their desire to offload the France international.

It had been reported by Le Parisien late last week that a deal between the clubs had almost been struck. However, with just hours remaining in the transfer window, the deal has fallen through. RMC Sport state that the numerous changes in the structure of the deal have led PSG to cut talks.

Tottenham Hotspur have now made an enquiry for Kolo Muani, according to Fabrizio Romano. Juventus, meanwhile, are set to sign Lois Openda and Edon Zhegrova instead.
