Bristol City drew 1-1 at Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Saturday as Adam Randell struck deep into stoppage time, a result that keeps Middlesbrough second in the Championship.
Leo Castledine, on as a substitute, put Boro ahead in the 65th minute, finishing from the centre after Hayden Hackney created the opening.
Radek Vítek then kept City in it with smart saves from Aidan Morris and Alan Browne as Boro pushed for a second.
Hackney later went off injured (72.), and City grew into the closing stages. After a corner was forced, Randell levelled in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time, glancing Tomi Horvat's cross into the top left.
Boro tallied 19 attempts and controlled 68.8% possession. City managed four shots and relied on Vítek's six saves.
Next, Boro visit Blackburn. City host West Brom.
