Rangers host Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership at Ibrox on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, with the hosts looking to keep pace in the top-three battle and the visitors aiming to firm up fifth.
Recent head-to-head has leaned the hosts' way. Rangers won the last two league meetings 1-0, before a goalless draw in February.
Form is mixed. Rangers arrive on the back of three league defeats to Celtic, Hearts and Motherwell after wins over Dundee United and Falkirk. Hibs have two wins in five, beating Kilmarnock and winning at Falkirk, but lost to Aberdeen, Hearts and Celtic.
On the numbers, Rangers control games, averaging 58% possession with 83.47% passing accuracy and 409 total shots this league season. Youssef Chermiti has 12 league goals, with James Tavernier and Mikey Moore adding threat from wide and forward areas. Hibs have scored 56 league goals with 521 open-play crosses at 20.73% accuracy, and could lean on Jamie McGrath and Kieron Bowie, both on eight league goals, with Martin Boyle also a live threat. With both sides delivering plenty from wide areas and 11–13 headed goals apiece, crosses and set pieces could decide the game.
A win would move Rangers to 72 points and could tighten pressure on the top two. Victory for the Hibees would take them to 57 points and strengthen their hold on fifth and the European picture.
