Rangers host Union SG in the Europa League this evening with both teams harbouring ambitions of breaking into the top eight.
A late defeat at Manchester United leaves Rangers 13th in the standings, three points outside the automatic Round of 16 places. Union SG arrive in Scotland in 15th, behind Rangers on goal difference.
Rangers recovered from their stoppage-time setback at Old Trafford with a 3-1 win at Dundee United at the weekend. Despite going a goal down, Philippe Clement’s side regrouped to claim the points.
Rangers face waits on the fitness of Leon Balogun, Vaclav Cerny and Connor Barron, who all sat out the weekend win at Dundee United. The trio picked up issues during the Europa League defeat at Manchester United last week and will be assessed.
Dujon Sterling, John Souttar and Neraysho Kasanwirjo are all ruled out of the clash. Cyriel Dessers will hope for a start after following his brilliant equaliser at Old Trafford with another goal in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.
