Serie A side Bologna have seen Lewis Ferguson grow significantly since he joined from Aberdeen. There have constantly been links with clubs and most recently, there have been rumours about Rangers being keen on the Scotsman.
Tuttomercatoweb report that Bologna are currently not discussing a renewal with the midfielder, whose future could be in the air.
That is why any significant offers that arrive will be paid heed to. Rangers, though, haven’t made an approach and there hasn’t been contact with any other club either.
The Scotland man’s current deal at the Rossoblu runs out in 2028, which could make it complex for the Glasgow side to sign him. As a result, Bologna are calm about the situation and aren’t panicking by any means. They would also be quite happy to keep him and move forward with him.
The Gers may have to break their transfer record to sign Ferguson, who may not be keen on them at this point of their career. He would ideally make a bigger jump – possibly in England, despite his connections with Rangers.
