Raniele undergoes ankle injection and misses Corinthians training this week | OneFootball

Corinthians midfielder Raniele has sat out training this week after receiving an injection in his left ankle on Tuesday, remaining indoors at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava under the care of club physiotherapists.

According to ge.globo, the expectation is that he will be available for the match against Coritiba on 11 March at 21:30 at Neo Química Arena. The club are using this match-free spell to aid his full recovery.

At Thursday’s open session he was absent from on-field work. Fellow midfielder Allan also did not take part.

The left ankle has troubled Raniele since last season. He missed the first leg of the Copa do Brasil semi-final against Cruzeiro because of the same issue, then played through pain in subsequent matches in that competition.

This season he has featured in 12 games for Corinthians, totalling 794 minutes. In 2025 he made 52 appearances, logging 3,644 minutes.
