Ranieri wants to keep Dybala, Roma remain hesitant

Claudio Ranieri, after the victory with Parma, was clear: “There is a Roma with and a Roma without Dybala.”

A phrase by José Mourinho, which says it all, namely: Dybala is not moving, at least for now. But Ranieri’s is an opinion.

The scenario, however, could be another, which goes beyond Ranieri’s thought: Dybala could leave Roma.

For a very simple reason: he earns a lot and the automatic renewal is imminent, in a handful of games, six, he would be earning double what he earns now, therefore around nine million net per season until 2026.

According to Il Messaggero, Roma is at a crossroads, it would like to avoid finding itself with such a high salary weighing down on its budget, especially for a player who has shown in recent years that he is not one hundred percent reliable, and at the same time it is thinking about alternative solutions so as not to lose a player of that caliber light-heartedly.

But the offers on the table never arrived.

Dybala’s agent, Carlos Novel, had taken a trip to Turkey to gather a half-proposal for his client from Galatasaray. But the matter was immediately put on hold, Gala is diverting attention to Mikautadze and Novel has returned to Spain to wait for Roma.

The parties are waiting: Dybala does not want to be seen as someone who wants to leave, the club does not want to be seen as someone who wants to lose their best player.

After the matches against Milan and Lazio the situation could finally clear up and together a decision will be made.
