Raphinha injury update after Barcelona’s win over Elche | OneFootball

Barcelona star Raphinha moved to play down the concerns surrounding his wellbeing in the aftermath of the club’s latest outing.

Wide-man Raphinha for his part set pulses racing across the Barcelona fanbase late on Saturday.

This came after the Brazilian international was forced into a premature departure from the Blaugrana’s La Liga meeting with Elche.

En route to an eventual 3-1 triumph for Hansi Flick’s troops, Raphinha lasted just 45 minutes before being hauled off.

Fears surrounding a potential injury, in turn, quickly spread back in Catalunya’s capital.

As alluded to above, though, Raphinha has himself since shut down any such speculation.

On his departure from the Estadio Martínez Valero yesterday evening, the former Leeds United man was asked by a journalist from Spanish media outlet Marca whether or not he has suffered an injury.

And Raphinha did not hesitate in providing a blunt one-word response, simply assuring:

‘No.’
