The international break features the majority of Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad being away on international duty.
Amongst those jetting out of Catalonia was Raphinha, with the called up by Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti, despite 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification already being assured.
Ancelotti opted against calling up any of his former Real Madrid players, who were granted a break following the Club World Cup, a decision that was met with scepticism in Barcelona.
Brazil cruised to a 3-0 win over Chile in Rio de Janeiro ahead of their final qualifier on the road in Bolivia on September 9.
Raphinha started the Chile and he is expected to remain with the squad in Bolivia before flying back to Spain.
However, despite being thousands of miles away from Europe, the La Blaugrana star has hit out at Disneyland following a family trip to their Paris site.
Raphinha shared multiple images on his social media accounts accusing Disneyland of racism towards his children.
“Your employees are a disgrace. You shouldn’t treat people like that, especially a CHILD. You’re supposed to make children happy, not snub a child.
“I prefer to say it was snubbing, to say nothing else. You’re a disgrace.
“I understand the fatigue of those who work there but why were all the white children embraced and my son wasn’t?
“He just wanted a ‘hi’ and a hug. Lucky for you, he doesn’t understand. I hate you @DisneylandParis.”
Raphinha has received support over the issue on social media with Disney yet to make a formal response on the matter.
Barcelona are back in La Liga action on September 14 but doubts remain over whether the redeveloped Estadi Camp Nou will be ready to host Valencia in front of a reduced capacity crowd.
With a gap in between games, Raphinha will be back in time, as Flick’s charges look to get back on track after the international break.
