Raphinha has admitted the chaos surrounding Dani Olmo's La Liga registration could make prospective signings think twice about joining Barcelona this year.
Barcelona signed Olmo for close to €60m last summer but could only register him temporarily thanks to Andreas Christensen's injury. That registration expired on December 31 and the Blaugrana failed to secure an extension before the deadline.
La Liga have reiterated the ruling that players cannot be awarded a second registration for the same club in a single season, leaving Barcelona forced to make one last desperate scramble to the Spanish government to try and secure another license for Olmo, who can terminate his contract and leave on a free transfer if he is not registered, and young forward Pau Victor, who finds himself in the same dilemma.
"It's a very complicated situation," Raphinha told the media. "We never want to go through these moments, they are complicated for us and for them, who don't know if they will play or not.
"We are trying to make it not so difficult for them. We hope that those in charge can resolve this as quickly as possible so that they can play with us again.

"We have to hope that this will be resolved quickly. We have to wait. The truth is that we know the same thing as you. We tried to stay focused to do our job. I hope that the people who have to resolve this can do it and give us good news quickly."
Asked whether the uncertainty surrounding Olmo and Victor could impact other players, Raphinha confessed: "Yes, I can't say no. I would be lying and I don't like lying.
"If I were at another club and I was experiencing the situation of Pau and Dani, perhaps I would think about whether it would be better to be here. When I arrived here, I knew the situation of the club."
It has been reported that Olmo could leave Barcelona on loan this month, while there have also been claims of a unique agreement which would see Olmo depart the club on a free transfer and rejoin in the summer after six months elsewhere.
