Rangers entertained PSV Eindhoven at the Ibrox Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League qualifying playoff tie. The Gers made a solid start to the game and managed to take the lead in the 45th minute courtesy of Abdallah Sima’s curled finish. Michael Beale’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
PSV began the second half well and managed to net the equaliser in the 61st minute when Ibrahima Sangara found the back of the net. Rabbi Matondo restored Rangers lead in the 76th minute with an excellent effort but the visitors equalised once again just four minutes later via Luuk de Jong’s goal. The contest finished with the Glaswegian outfit earning an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Ibrox.
