Rasmus Höjlund has joined Napoli on a permanent deal after a season on loan, with the contract length undisclosed. According to L'Équipe, the 23-year-old Danish striker arrives from Manchester United after the Italian club activated an obligatory purchase clause worth €45m.
Höjlund rediscovered his form in Naples, scoring 16 goals in 44 appearances. He lifted the Italian Super Cup and helped Napoli finish second in Serie A behind Inter Milan.
He moved to United from Atalanta in 2023 and registered 26 goals in 95 games.
A mixed spell in England prompted his return to Italy on loan last summer.
He departs the Red Devils as a 2024 FA Cup winner.
