Captain Rasmus Nicolaisen returns to the Toulouse squad for Wednesday’s Coupe de France quarter-final at Marseille, with kick-off at 21:00.

The 28-year-old Danish defender missed Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Rennes with a thigh issue. He is included for the trip to the Vélodrome, according to L'Équipe.

Head coach Carles Martinez Novell had expressed optimism over his availability in recent days. Toulouse also regain Aron Dönnum, left out of the previous two matches for internal reasons, and Cristian Casseres after suspension served at Roazhon Park.

Frank Magri and Rafik Messali, both with knee injuries, remain out, as does Francis Abu with a tibia-fibula problem.

The Haut-Garonne side are winless in five Ligue 1 games, with two draws and three defeats, a run that has dropped them to 11th. Martinez Novell has called the tie the most important match of their season in the cup.
