Roma has received Manchester United’s message and, despite the rift between the player and the Red Devils manager, is willing to wait until mid-January to sign Joshua Zirkzee.

For Giacomo Raspadori, however, they want to accelerate.

The Friedkins have given the green light for the double signing, notifying Frederic Massara that the players requested by the manager must arrive.

The sporting director is planning the decisive move for Gasperini’s two key targets.

The Italian attacking midfielder could arrive at Trigoria quickly, a matter of days, if not hours.

Gasperini would like to have Raspadori on the bench on January 3rd, for the match against Atalanta, and it’s possible his wish will come true.

As reported by Il Corriere della Sera, Massara has raised his offer to Atletico Madrid, approaching the €22 million requested by the Colchoneros. €2 million for the loan and €17 million for the buyout, contingent on the number of appearances and not on reaching the Champions League.

With this offer, Roma believes they will receive the green light from Atletico and guarantee Gasperini, who has lost Lorenzo Pellegrini in that position, will see the player as soon as possible.

Furthermore, Massara wants to accelerate given the competition from Juventus, Lazio, and Galatasaray, and after sealing the deal for Raspadori, he will prepare the move for Zirkzee.
