Raul Clyde showcased his Valencia CF colours in Bad Bunny’s La Casita, wearing the iconic 2004-05 Nike senyera with Toyota branding. The Aldaia singer and songwriter again underlined a bond that goes beyond casual support.

Images from the tour’s VIP space spread quickly on social media. Speaking to Radio Marca recently, he named David Villa as his football idol and the best Valencia player he has seen. He has also backed protests against Peter Lim and highlighted the minute 19 demonstrations.

Clyde’s link with the club has been constant throughout his rise in Spanish urban music. Born Raúl Pérez Marqués, he has fronted initiatives with Valencia and has never hidden his allegiance.

In 2024 he chose Mestalla to announce his album Destino 2014. He has also collaborated with the club, displayed Valencia symbols in public and online, and even carried tattoos connected to the team.

The shirt choice was no accident. The design holds a special place for supporters, arriving after one of the club’s most successful years.

Under Claudio Ranieri, Valencia won the UEFA Super Cup 2-1 against Porto in Monaco. Rubén Baraja headed the opener and Marco Di Vaio added a second after the break, before Ricardo Quaresma struck from distance.

That victory delivered Valencia’s second Super Cup and capped an era of success. Today the senyera is a cult item for supporters, and Clyde’s appearance again fused music, Valencian identity and love for Mestalla.
