Raúl Jiménez made Premier League history by converting his 12th consecutive penalty, eclipsing Yaya Touré’s mark, despite Fulham’s 2-3 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

Glorioso 1904 highlights the former Benfica striker’s milestone. His flawless sequence began in November 2018 with Wolverhampton in a 2-3 defeat to Tottenham.

Jiménez, who played for Benfica from 2015 to 2018, now has the most Premier League penalties scored without a miss. He and Yaya Touré are the only players to reach double figures with a 100% record, with Dimitar Berbatov next on nine from nine.

Other notable takers include Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, whose run of 12 ended with his 13th attempt, and Matt Le Tissier, who converted 25 of 26.

Across 45 career attempts, Jiménez has missed only two penalties, both outside the Premier League, one for Wolverhampton in the UEFA Europa League in 2020 and one for Mexico in 2018. He never failed from the spot while at Benfica.

Now in his third season at Craven Cottage, he has played 28 matches in 2025/26 for a total of 1,932 minutes, scoring seven goals and supplying three assists. The Mexico international has previously been asked about a possible return to the Estádio da Luz.
