Raul Torrente arrives at Le Mans on loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Le Mans have completed the signing of Spanish centre-back Raul Torrente on loan from Dinamo Zagreb, with an option to buy. The left-footed defender is 24.

According to L'Équipe, he is due in Sarthe on Tuesday. The move follows Djibril Sidibé’s signing and offsets the return of Isaac Cossier to Lille after last season’s loan.

Torrente is coming off a largely lost 2025-26 campaign. He suffered a serious knee injury, then hurt his shoulder days after returning to training, and managed only one appearance last season, compared with 28 the year before.

He returned to competitive action on the final day of the Croatian league, his first official minutes in more than a year.

The defender joined Dinamo Zagreb in summer 2024 after three professional seasons with Granada, and quickly earned a place in their back line. In his debut campaign he played six full Champions League matches, having previously made 35 La Liga appearances for Granada.
