Fabrizio Romano has reported that Rayan Ait-Nouri has successfully completed his medical with Manchester City today. Furthermore, Romano reports that the Algerian international is set to sign a 5-year contract with the club. Ait-Nouri will sign his City contract on Sunday per a separate report from Fabrizio Romano.

Pep Guardiola will have a proper left-back to deploy for the Club World Cup and beyond.

With the formalities now complete, all that awaits is official confirmation of Rayan Ait-Nouri’s move to Manchester City. That is expected to come early next week. It should also come before the deadline of the short transfer window for clubs to sign players for the FIFA Club World Cup which expires on June 10.
