RB Leipzig keen to sign Strasbourg duo Samir El Mourabet and Diego Moreira | OneFootball

RB Leipzig are reportedly interested in RC Strasbourg Alsace duo Samir El Mourabet (20) and Diego Moreira (22), according to information from Foot Mercato.

Talks between the two clubs are said to have already begun to explore the feasibility of such a move. Under contract with Racing until 2030 and 2029 respectively, the two Strasbourg talents are understood to be very keen on the idea of joining the German club, which finished third in the Bundesliga last season and have qualified for the next Champions League campaign.

As key players in an Alsatian side characterised by the youth of their squad, El Mourabet and Moreira have both established themselves as important figures.

This is why Leipzig will need to come up with compelling arguments to convince the RCSA management to part with these two talents, having already seen Valentín Barco (22) and Emmanuel Emegha (23) leave La Meinau this summer.
