Yan Diomande was forced off as RB Leipzig ran out 5-0 winners against TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga last Friday.
Die Roten Bullen have now confirmed that the 19-year-old suffered a capsular injury to his shoulder.

The Bundesliga club stated that a more precise assessment of his recovery timeline will be made “in the coming days.”
As a result of the injury, Diomande will not join up with the Ivory Coast national team during the international break. He will instead focus fully on recovering from the injury.
Diomande has been one of Leipzig’s standout performers this season, scoring 11 goals and laying on eight assists in 29 appearances so far.
