RB Leipzig ‘to push’ for Nkunku return before deadline | OneFootball

RB Leipzig are stepping up attempts to bring Christopher Nkunku back, with a late-window move under consideration.

Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto report that the Bundesliga side contacted the forward’s representatives over the weekend to explore a deal, and that Nkunku is open to a reunion.

The 28-year-old is expected to leave AC Milan before the window closes, and while terms remain unclear, a loan is thought to be the likelier route than a permanent transfer at this stage.

Nkunku registered 126 goal contributions in 172 Leipzig appearances between 2019 and 2023.
