RB Leipzig have decided Lutsharel Geertruida and Arthur Vermeeren can leave as pre-season nears its end, with permanent deals favoured.

Sky Germany reports that the duo have been advised to seek moves, and Leipzig are also pursuing a new defensive midfielder.

A winger to fill the void left by Yan Diomandé is a priority, while a striker could arrive if Harder or Rômulo depart.

There is interest from the Premier League, La Liga, the Eredivisie and the Saudi Pro League. PSV Eindhoven, plus clubs in England and Spain, have registered interest in the Dutch defender.

Leipzig are open to a sale at around €20 million, and still favour permanent transfers, though further loans for Geertruida or Vermeeren have not been ruled out.

Ayodele Thomas and Suleman Sani are available for loan, with Leipzig aiming to guarantee the youngsters regular playing time.
