RC Lens loan Hervé Koffi to Union Saint-Gilloise with option to buy

Union Saint-Gilloise said on Saturday that RC Lens have loaned Burkina Faso goalkeeper Hervé Koffi, 29, with an option to buy.

The move takes Koffi back to Belgium two years after he left Charleroi, returning to the Jupiler Pro League.

USG face Bodö/Glimt in the Champions League third qualifying round on four and 11 August.

Since arriving at Lens in 2024, he has made only six first-team appearances. He spent last season on loan at Angers, where a standout spell helped secure Ligue 1 survival.

The former Lille and Mouscron keeper is a Burkina Faso international with 70 caps. He now joins a USG side that will contest the top end of the Belgian league.
