Real Betis agree €18m sale | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Betis are set for an imminent boost on the financial front. This comes amid confirmation that the Verdiblancos have agreed on the terms of Sergi Altimira’s sale.

Speculation has long been rife in the Spanish media regarding a summer departure from Seville for midfielder Altimira.

Amid widespread interest in the signature of the 24-year-old, Portuguese heavyweights Sporting CP pushed themselves to the front of the queue to strike a deal with their Betis counterparts.

These talks were backed by an offer based around an initial €18 sum, alongside a series of add-ons.

And as alluded to above, this weekend, as much has proven enough to see the two parties close a definitive agreement.

The info comes courtesy of transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, who reports:

‘Sergi Altimira to Sporting, here we go! Deal sealed now between Sporting and Real Betis after agreement in principle revealed earlier this week. €18m plus add-ons, Spanish midfielder set to travel for medical in next 24h.’
