Juan Bernat (31) will return to Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season after his loan with Benfica ends. However, the French champions will be hopeful that the summer will provide a way out for the Spanish left-back.
There is no future in the capital for Bernat despite his contract lasting until 2025. Last summer the defender had been forced to train with a squad of “undesirables” as the French club attempted to force this group of players to swiftly find their exit routes.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Betis are interested in the PSG defender as they look to strengthen their options on the left of their defence. Juan Miranda (24) will be leaving at the end of his contract while Abner Vinícius (23) could be on his way to Olympique Lyonnais.
Real Betis are thought to see the PSG defender as an experienced head who could help support their other transfer target at left-back, Abrel Bretones (23).
