Real Betis poach La Fabrica talent from Real Madrid | OneFootball

Real Madrid have parted ways with several La Fabrica youngsters over the course of this summer. The likes of Rafa Marin, Alex Jimenez and Marvin Park have all left for pastures new, and the latest to be on his way is Jorge Oreiro.

Oreiro, 17, has been part of Real Madrid’s U18 side for the past 18 months. He’s a central defence by trade, although he can also be utilised as a right-back. He’s been capped on one occasion at U17 level for Spain.

As per Fabrizio Romano, several clubs in England have tried to sign Oreiro. However, it is Real Betis that will be the team to secure his signature.

As has been the case with the vast majority of the deals they’ve negotiated this summer, Real Madrid have a sell-on clause in the agreement with Betis. They will also have matching rights, which allows them to continue having some control of his future.
