La Liga outfit Real Betis are set to be without no fewer than four members of the club’s midfield ranks, for their meeting with Osasuna this weekend.
This was confirmed by head coach Manuel Pellegrini on Friday evening.
Pellegrini held his latest pre-match press conference this afternoon, ahead of Real Betis’ post-international break return to action on Saturday.
Front and centre in the discussion was the fitness situation in the Verdiblancos’ squad, amid what has proven an altogether difficult opening to the campaign on the personnel front in Heliopolis.
And as much gave rise to confirmation on the part of Pellegrini that midfield quartet Isco, William Carvalho, Marc Roca and Giovani Lo Celso are all set to sit out this weekend, through injury.
The news regarding another group of players, though, proved to be of an altogether more positive nature.
After respective recent spells on the sidelines, all of Natan, Marc Bartra, Youssouf Sabaly, Chimy Ávila and Johnny Cardoso have been given the medical green light to face Osasuna on Saturday.
